Must-have Monday: Knits

Between the snow, ice, and wind chill factor, the cold winter is back with a vengeance this year. If you’re like me and don’t mind the drastic dip in temperature, then you know inclement weather is something you kind of just make the best of. My fix this season? Rachel’s Knit Knacks. She’s made all kinds of awesome to keep the warmth cute.

I love that Rachel makes these by hand and offers all her styles in custom colors. Love so much I bought a turban myself. That’s me with Gale from Nuda!

Hello Again, Winter: Vintage Faux Fur

Ahhh yes, this past Wednesday’s nor’easter officially marked the unofficial start of winter. You know what that means – temperature drops, hot chocolate, multiple layers, and fluffy coats. Our favorite get-warm-quick solution is a cozy faux fur coat of the vintage variety. Vintage, specifically, because I mean it when I say “they don’t make ’em like they used to.” There’s just something about vintage faux fur that screams quality, classic chic that newer renditions just can’t hang. Here are a couple of resurrected favorites from our beloved Sewbie vintagers:
