Between the snow, ice, and wind chill factor, the cold winter is back with a vengeance this year. If you’re like me and don’t mind the drastic dip in temperature, then you know inclement weather is something you kind of just make the best of. My fix this season? Rachel’s Knit Knacks. She’s made all kinds of awesome to keep the warmth cute.
Extra Large Triangle Fringe Scarf Shawl / Long Infinity Scarf / Extra Thick Infinity Scarf Cowl / Chunky Twisted Knit Turban / Double Pom Pom Hat
I love that Rachel makes these by hand and offers all her styles in custom colors. Love so much I bought a turban myself. That’s me with Gale from Nuda!
Bundle up everyone!

My boyfriend – a sailor – once explained to me the significance of various knots and their nautical purpose. Interesting stuff considering all I know about ropes is that they’ve been all over the accessories scene, namely in necklaces and bags. Rachel’s Knit Knacks steps it up a notch and makes having knots in your hair a good thing.
They come in an array of colors and she can even custom create one in any color you prefer.
Ever since we launched Sewbie.com beta back in the summer, I scour the site every single day. You know, looking for things we need to fix, improve, add on… and…well…also for THINGS I WANT TO BUY. Here are my current must-haves, just in time for the season of giving.
1. Rachel’s Knit Knacks Chunky Twisted Knit Turban
2. Hello Again Vintage 1980’s Geometric Arrow Enamel Earrings
3. Alex & Afton Vintage Fur Coat (sold out but similar here)
4. Oriana LaMarca White Clover with Tiger Eye Bracelet
5. Nuda Druzy and Carnelia Metalwork Necklace
6. Carolina Benoit Ivory Studded Collar Blouse (sold out but check out her line here)
7. Clo Hair Bows Chevron – Large
8. Sewsephine Wrapped Up in Studs Bracelet
9. Caviar Noir Princess Necklace with Crystal Heart and Metallic Gray Pearls on Gunmetal Chain
I’ve noticed that everything on my want list this season is in grayscale or neutral colors – black, gray, white, cream, brown. Usually not afraid of color, this is all kind of new to me but I’m loving it. It makes it easy to create a look that is classic but with still a bit of an edge.
